This is accomplished by a systemized approach.

1. Investigation of your Goals. We will consider your short term as well as long term goals as they relate to your financial security, health, identity, as well as co-parenting and your children's wellbeing, if applicable.

2. Review of Process choices Family law disputes can be tackled in a number of ways, from the sword to the dove to use a simple metaphor.  We will review and understand the meaning of choosing uncontested, mediation, collaborative law or litigation as a problem solving model and what input you have and don't have regarding this important choice.

3. Review of Tools I will inform you of: a) the law as it is written as well as how it is actually applied in real life; b) the availability of allied professionals as experts outside the legal field who can assist in smoothing the way to a satisfactory resolution; c) the need to always keep your eye on the goal line. 4. Information Gathering We will get the information that we need for you to make  decisions that you are confidant of.

5. Creative Problem Solving There is more than one way to skin a cat.

6. Constant Evaluation  We will constantly evaluate how your decisions impact the goals that you chose.  If needed, the goals will be revised. (see #1)

7. Negotiate to a solution

Family Law deals with especially sensitive issues that can have life-long emotional and financial effects. It is a specialized area of law, requiring specific training in negotiation and litigation, taxation, property and business issues, as well as a knowledge of changing rules and procedures.

My practice is exclusively Family Law with my office in Tarrant County, Texas.  My staff,  Brandon Turnage, and Tamra Siebenthall offer a deep understanding of the legal and human issues involved in  family Law.  

I am a member of Collaborative Lawyers of Tarrant County, a non-affiliated group of attorneys trained in the newest approach to family law conflict, Collaborative Law as well as the Northeast Collaborative Professionals.

I serve clients most frequently from cities of Arlington, Bedford, Colleyville, Grapevine, Fort Worth,  Keller, Southlake, Roanoke, Hurst and Euless, North Richland Hills, Mansfield.
